Soak saffron in 3 tbsp of warm milk, and mix
corn flour in 2-3 tbsp of milk

Boil milk and add saffron & corn flour paste
to it

Simmer the milk until it reduces to a thick but
poring consistently
·
Add chopped nuts and rose essence at last
Now Rabri is ready… lets proceed to Shahi Tukda…..
Step 2 – Proceeding to Shahi Tukda:
·
Remove brown side of bread slices and cut
diagonally in four pieces
·
Fry pieces in medium flame until golden brown
& crisp evenly
·
Boil sugar with little water, just to immerse
the sugar and prepare a thick sugar syrup
·
Dip fried bread slices in the sugar syrup to
coat both sides
·
Arrange the fried pieces in the plate
·
Pour the Rabri over the pieces such that all
pieces are covered with Rabri
