Mushroom Roast Recipe – If you have mushrooms at home and some Indian
spices, then here is a recipe to give a tryJ.
It’s a simple and tasty recipe that can be prepared in no time, just with White
Button Mushroom and some Indian Spice blends. This dish would be fabulous if
you want to make a mushroom side dish without spending much time on it. No
chopping of other vegetables required except mushrooms. White button Mushrooms
are preferred while Portobello can also be used. This dish can be served with
bread, chapattis or can also be served as side dish with main meal. J

What are the ingredients I need to make Roast Mushroom?

Button Mushrooms 200gm
·
Turmeric powder/Haldi ½ tsp
·
Red chilli ½ tsp
·
Coriander/Dhania Powder ½ tsp
·
Garam Masala powder ½ tsp
·
Besan/Gram Powder 1 tbsp
·
Fresh Curd/Yogurt 2 tbsp, whisked till smooth
·
Chopped coriander leave 2tsp
·
Oil 1 tbsp
·
Salt to taste
What is the method to prepare Roast Mushroom?

Firstly, rinse mushroom, drain and wipe them dry
·
Chop them into two, quarter, or in slices as you
like
·
Pour 1tbsp of oil in frying pan, heat it, add
mushrooms, stir and sauté the mushroom
·
Some minutes are required to cook mushrooms as
they sweat water. Lower the flame to medium
·
This water should be drained completely and
mushrooms should turn into golden at edges
·
Now add turmeric, chilly, garam masala, and
coriander one by one and stir for 4 – 5 secs
·
Add besan and saute it for 2 to 3 min on low
flame
·
Remove the pan from stove, add whisked curd,
stir well and season with salt
·
Keep the pan back on stove, and saute for 4 to 5
min on low flame till mixture dries and masala has coated the mushrooms
·
Add coriander leaves and switch off the stove
·
Serve mushrooms with lemon slices / wedges
