What are the Ingredients Required to make Fried Chicken Roll?

  • Boneless Chicken                                250gms, grated
  • Cauliflower (Gobi)                              ½ cup, finely chopped
  • Carrot                                                  ½ cup, finely chopped
  • Pepper powder                                    1 tsp
  • Soya sauce                                          2 tbsp
  • Vinegar (Sirka)                                    2 tbsp
  • Maida (multi purpose flour)                1 cup
  • Oil                                                       for deep frying
  • Baking soda                                        1 pinch
  • Salt to taste
  • Red chili powder                                2 tsp
  • Onion                                                  1, large, finely chopped
  • Coriander powder                               1 tsp
  • Cumin powder                                                1 tsp
  • Turmeric powder                                 ½ tsp
  • Cumin seeds                                        1 tsp
  • Ginger-garlic paste                              2 tbsp
  • Tomatoes                                             3, finely chopped
  • Egg                                                      6
  • Coriander leaves                                 1 bunch 

What is the Method to Prepare Fried Chicken Rolls?

  • Mix pepper, red chili, vinegar, soya sauce, turmeric, salt and ginger – garlic paste. Marinate for 30 minutes
  • Heat oil in frying pan, add cumin seeds to it. Let it crackle
  • Add chopped onions and saute till it turns brown
  • Add cauliflower and carrot. Cook for 1 minute
  • Now, add marinated chicken and cook for 5 – 10 minutes. Keep stirring
  • Remove it from stove. Add coriander leaves and keep aside
  • Take a bowl, add maida, 1 egg white, baking soda, salt and water. Mix to make a soft dough
  • Make small balls of dough
  • Take a dough ball and roll out flat chapatis using rolling pin
  • Add some cooked chicken to it. Roll the chapatis and seal the ends
  • Repeat the above steps with all dough balls
  • Heat oil in heavy bottomed frying pan (kadai)
  • Beat the remaining 5 eggs in a wide bowl. Dip the rolls in eggs and deep fry the rolls
  • Fried chicken rolls are ready to serve!

Tips


Garnish with chopped tomatoes, coriander leaves and serve them hot with tomato sauce
