What are the ingredients I need to make Lucknowi Kebab?

  • Minced Mutton                       1 kg
  • Papaya                                     3 tsp / paste
  • Onions                                     3, medium sized
  • Ginger                                     1 tbsp,
  • Almonds                                 12
  • Red Chili                                 1 tbsp
  • Yogurt                                     ½ cup
  • Oil                                           1 cup
  • Garam Masal Powder             1 tsp
  • Salt to Taste 

What is the method to prepare Lucknowi Kebab?

  • Clean, wash and rinse mutton well
  • Add papaya and salt to minced mutton and marinate for 1 hour
  • Heat oil in frying pan, add chopped onion. Sauté till golden brown
  • Grind fried onion, almond and ginger. Mix this paste with yogurt.
  • Add 2 tbsp oil and yogurt mixture to mutton. Mix well
  • Make small kebabs of marinated mutton
  • Saute these kebabs till they are cooked and turn into brown
  • Serve hot!!!! 

Tips

Garnish with finely sliced Onion, Tomato, Green Chilies, lemon pieces and serve!!
