Learn how to make Nargisi Kofta
Recipe – an Exotic Mughlai Cuisine Recipe. It is the most popular dish among
the mughlai cuisine lovers. Nargisi kofta is boiled eggs stuffed into a shell
of kheema. These hard boiled eggs coated with a flavor some kheema mixture
& deep fried gives outstanding tasty side dish. This dish is quite time
consuming but makes a fantastic and mouth watering recipe. This is one of the
favorite dishes of my nephew; hope you all will enjoy this amazing Nargisi
Koftas!!!!

What are the ingredients I need to make Nargisi Kofta?
·
Meat Minced ½ kg
·
Onions 2, Chopped
·
Gram flour (Besan) 3 tbsp
·
Cumin ½ tsp
·
Coriander powder 1 tsp
·
Poppy seeds (Kash – Kash / Khas ) 3 tsp
·
Pea nut 2 tbsp
·
Cinnamon Stick 1
·
Onions 2, Quartered
·
Tomatoes 2, pureed
·
Green Chilies 4 – 5
·
Garlic 5 – 6 Cloves
·
Ginger 1 tbsp, Chopped
·
Red Chili powder 3 tsp
·
Turmeric Powder ½ tsp
·
Garam Masala powder 1 tsp
·
Eggs 4
What is the method to prepare Nargisi Kofta?
·
Take pressure cooker; pour minced meat, quartered
onions, green chilies, chopped ginger, garlic – cloves, poppy seeds, pea nut,
gram flour, cinnamon stick, cumin and coriander powder. Cook for 20 min till
water dries up.

Once cooked, remove it in a container to let it
cool
·
Beat one egg, add it to cooked meat and grind
the mixture. keep it aside
·
Boil the eggs
·
Peel off the hard boiled eggs
·
Make 3 equal parts of the meat mixture
·
Take one part, flatten it on your palm, keep an
egg and wrap
·
Coat all boiled with cooked mince in same way
·
Now fry coated eggs one by one in hot oil and
keep aside
·
Add chopped onions and ginger to the remaining
oil
·
Sauté the onions till they turn to brown
·
Now add 1 tsp red chili powder, coriander
powder, yoghurt, pureed tomatoes and garam masala to it
·
Simmer until gravy turns thick
·
When serving slice the fried eggs in half and
serve with gravy!!!!
